Brief Description: A perennial that averages 30 to 50 centimeters tall, it is present in the northern and central Sahara, the southern regions of Morocco and Libya. Camels seek out this plant species for forage. In southwest Libya, there are wadis named after the Taureg name for the species in-afarfar [ ][O][O in Tinifagh] because of there abundance.
