    Scientific Name: Launaea arborescens

    Sahraoui [Hassaniyya] Name: [ Mulbena]

    Brief Description: A thorny bush that averages 1 meter in height and is a pasture for camels in the dry season (pictured above). Its latex is used for treating against diarrhea, fever, and stomach problems. The spider, called rtilla [ ]in the Hasaniyya language, commonly makes their webs among this plant species.
