Brief Description: This plant is becoming endemic in the northern, central and western parts of the Sahara. It grows to a height of 30 to 60 centimeters. Herders keep their animals clear from this plant because their animals are likely to die even if tasting it. It contains latex that is highly toxic and causes irritation. The latex is used in the composition of remedies against snake bites.
