Brief Description: A bush commonly mistaken for Rhus tripartia [ejdari in the Hassaniyya dialect], it is endemic to Morocco and the Canary Islands. Its fruit, called anafiss [ ]in the Hassaniyya dialect, are edible although acidic in taste. The fruits are larger than those of the Rhus tripartia although the taste is similar. Camels seek out this plant for pasture.
