TEAM MANAGERs MEETING
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Drivers Registration.
Drivers registration will be held from Saturday Morning until Tuesday Afternoon. Organizers will give to each Country Team Manager one envelope for each driver with the drivers name, the accreditation card for each driver, mechanic and visitors. The Team Managers will also receive frequency to be used, and the transponder number that each driver must use in his/her car. Inside this envelope you will also find the Radio impound number-ID and the Car numbers, a set of 3 numbers, to be placed on the car, front, left and right as per EFRA rules. Each Team Manager will receive his Drivers List. The list contain all his drivers data (Efra licence number, frequencies, transponder number, cars brand, engine and other data that the organizers may need). The Team Manager must check all the information with his drivers and return the form with all data filled in, or with any possible amendment done at Time Keeper a.s.a.p. (as soon as possible). Each Country has its reserved pit tables in the paddock. You must only use those marked for your country. Without the Accreditation Card it is not allowed to participate in a practice/control practice. The frequency to be used is the one allowed/assigned by the Organiser. IMPORTANT: Team Manager will have to give back to the Organizer the envelopes of the not coming drivers (drivers he is sure will not attend the event).

General Movement
For Practice, Qualifying and Finals, drivers will wait beside the stairs behind of the rostrum. Use the left side stairs to go up. After the Practice or Qualifying is over the drivers must leave the rostrum using the right side stairs (in their direction from on the rostrum). For Practice and Qualifying the drivers must always drive from his place (number) on the rostrum. Only during the Finals, a driver can choose his place in order according to his qualification place (first #1, second #2, and so on). Mechanics must wait beside the rostrum stairs (left). They cannot enter to the pit line from the right side of the rostrum (looking at the rostrum). After Practice, mechanics must leave the pit lane through the opposite end of the rostrum. During Control Practice, Qualifying and Finals the mechanics will take all the cars to the Technical Inspection. 1

Free Practice and Control Practice


Free Practice is organised in 13 fixed Practice Groups of 10 drivers in each one (5 for 4wd and 8 for 2wd). These heats will be published on the result board. All drivers will have 12 rounds of free practice (8) and 2 more for Controlled Practice. In these rounds the starting procedure will be as the one to be used in Qualifying Rounds. The 2 last ones, on Wednesday, will can be used to do the reseeding of the Qualifying Groups (all or some drivers. The best 3 consecutive laps will be used for reseeding purposes. Please, remember all cars must use the correct race and pit numbers. 2 mechanics are allowed for each driver.

Technical Inspection
During Wednesday, one by one, all drivers must pass a pre-Technical Inspection. The drivers must bring their cars to pass the Technical Inspection and to mark the chassis. During Qualifying Rounds, all cars must go immediately to Technical Inspection when the race is over. 2

Opening Ceremony
On Wednesday, about 19:45, and after the 2th Round of Control Practice is finished, well celebrate with the Opening Ceremony. The Organiser will call the Teams, country by country, and the drivers will start walking from the paddock from the right side of the rostrum (looking at the rostrum from the track). And will stop in front of the rostrum (a moment for press pictures); after the pictures have been taken, the team will walk to its place on the track (behind the flag man). The Spanish Team, as the organizing country, will do the parade in the last position.

Qualification

On Wednesday, after the Opening Ceremony, Organizers will publish the heats arrangement for the Qualifying based in the results obtained in the Control Practice. A drivers best 3 consecutive laps will be used for reseeding purpose. At afternoon the first qualifying will do. There will be 5 rounds of Qualifying for 2wd and 6 for 4wd. Qualification method to be used will be by points(in laps and time archived). Starting procedure in Qualification: After the race director opens the track, an automatic count down of 3 minutes will be started by the time keeping system. The computer will announce automatically the flying start horn signal; the announcements of 3 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute and 30 second to start will also be given automatically. Once the Time-Keeping System announces that the race is over, all cars must go immediately to the pit-lane, even cutting the track (if race Director announces it is allowed to do so). Remember: No car can wait for the starting announcement/sound, stopping or waiting before the lap counting line. Also it is not allowed to cut the track once the 1 minute to start announcement will be given. This could mean a 10 seconds stop & go penalty. The mechanic collects the car after the race and goes directly to the technical inspection, after turning off the batteries (do not dismount it). It is not allowed to dismount or to make any other changes to the car. 2 mechanics are allowed for each driver.

Finals
Friday afternoon (see Time Table), 1/32 to 1/8 Finals will be run (20 minutes). The rest of the Finals will be on Saturday. The starting system is Formula 1 grid system. After several warm-up laps, 1 minute before the start time, the Race Director will call all cars to the pit-lane. After all cars will be in the pit-lane, and with the Race Directors authorization, all cars will go to his starting box. The front of the car cannot be outside of the start box. The Start signal will be given with a horn. 10 minutes delay can only be requested for the Semifinals and Final, not for any other subfinal. 3

Racing Procedure Extra rules


5 minutes before the start of any race day all transmitters must be impounded in the correct place on the rostrum. At the boxes door (entrance) you will find extra car numbers if you need them. Between Rounds it is possible to go up to the rostrum to check radio, servos, and so on. Also it is not permitted to leave the rostrum with the transmitter. Only when the previous heat is over and the drivers have cleared the rostrum the next heat will be allowed to proceed, Exit will be by the opposite side. The drivers must always return the radio to their Transmitter impound places. Positions on the Rostrum: During Heats drivers must stand adjacent to their numbers on the rostrum. During Finals, drivers with lowest starting number may choose their position on the rostrum. His mechanics will always pit underneath him. In the Team Managers Room, the Team Managers can get all the Race Results and any other information published. If any driver needs to change his frequency or transponder number, you must use the Form that you can find in Team Managers room. Only when the Time Keeper returns the signed form (paper) to the Team Manager, the change you asked for freq or transponder number- will be allowed. Spare transponders provided by the club will have a deposit of 100 euros as warranty. All cars must bring 3 numbers: front, left, right, without any cut, always placed on the body-shell. It is strictly forbidden to place them on the car windows. Referees can sanction his penalties with several formats: warning, stop & go or drive through etc, this will be determined by the Referees. 3 Warnings mean disqualification or black flag. Stop&go will be done in the pit-line. It is not possible before, during or after on this lap to do any repairing or refuelling. In a drive through penalty the car must run through the pit-lane at slow speed. Please, advise your drivers and mechanic the use of wastepaper baskets is recommended. A clean facility is better for everybody. Remind your drivers and mechanics about the rules for a more enjoyable race meeting!. Remember it is forbidden to smoke in the pits and boxes.
