Alf Clausen, Composer With 'The Simpsons' For 27 Years, Is Let Go

The composer worked on more than 560 episodes of the long-running animated series.

Alf Clausen, acomposer for 27 of the series' 29 seasons, across 568 episodes, was let go this week, his agent Wednesday evening that the news was "unfortunately" true. Tempereau declined to comment on the reason for Clausen's dismissal.
