Egypt calls on UN to look into Israel’s violations against Palestinian youth

Egypt’s foreign minister yesterday called on the UN to launch an investigation into Israeli violations against Palestinian youths in the occupied territories, the Anadolu Agency reported yesterday. During a speech at a UN Security Council meeting entitled “Youth, Safety and Security: The Lost Peace”, the official stressed on the “importance of affording economic and education opportunities for the youth to guarantee they will not fall victim to terror.” According to the statement, the energy of the youth must be invested and they must be involved in development projects. Egypt’s foreign minister yesterday called on the UN to launch an investigation into Israeli violations against Palestinian youths in the occupied territories, the Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.
