STEVE LOPES AND MASTER PRINTER TOM GOULDER

A SOLID FRIENDSHIP MAKES FOR a fruitful printing partnership, as Tom Goulder and Steve Lopes have discovered. Sydney-based painter Steve Lopes and master printer Tom Goulder have been working together for almost 20 years. Their working relationship has developed into a longstanding friendship that has seen both accommodate each other’s different approaches to art to create an important body of prints.

Every couple of weeks, Lopes travels from his Sydney home to Goulder’s print workshop in Port Kembla – Duck Print Fine Art Limited Editions – for a day or two of printing. There’s a good deal of joking
