HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN GROWING VEG?

I started growing veg in 2011 when I built the first bed. I have six raised beds now, giving about 194 sq ft.

WHAT VARIETY OF VEGETABLE CAN YOU RECOMMEND?

Lettuce. As a novice I was surprised by its resilience, to me and the weather. Easy to grow from seed. I always let one plant go to seed and save the seed for the following year. My gardening friends benefit as I always, without fail, sow too many for my patch!
