Before there were Blazers and Silverados, if you needed a four-wheel-drive Chevrolet pick-up you bought one with a NAPCO all-wheel-drive conversion. Mick Arnold was looking for an older pick-up when he spotted this NAPCO 1956 Chevrolet 3200 online. “I bought it in 2015 from a dealer in Epsom then drove it home to Derbyshire,” remembers Mick. “Originally I’d thought the ’56 expensive and tried to do a deal, I didn’t realise it was a rare and original four-wheel-drive until the seller explained. It was complete and drove well, but had obviously been a working vehicle.
