Sutherland restored for museum display

THE Isle of Man Railway’s first locomotive has been cosmetically restored so it can return to public display after many years.
Built by Beyer was named after the Duke of Sutherland, a director of the line in its formative years. No.1 hauled the first official train to Peel and remained in service until 1964.
