    At first glance, learning how to effectively collaborate with other artists and clients may not seem as important to a CG artist as creating an amazing animation or a fantastic character.

    The truth is, however, that creativity thrives from collaboration. Artists can clear up misunderstandings about direction, and clients can make sure that their money is being well spent if an artist can keep them involved with systems that are easy to manage and intuitive to operate for anyone, even if they may not be familiar with the technical software.

    While many large VFX studios use complex, but efficient, project management systems, these may not be suitable for small jobs with a couple of artists and a single client, for projects that only last for a couple of days.
