fter a scorching summer followed closely by a late September storm I was moved to come up with something cheap but robust to erect over the cockpit to ward off the rays and the raindrops. The spec was something waterproof and shady, robust, easily stowed and when erected gives sufficient visibility to use while motoring. And most importantly of all –
