Cairo Streets

&A Museum, runs until 25 April. Entry free THIS display brings visitors face to face with everyday life in Cairo, Egypt, in the 19th century. It features historic photographs, which were typically found in Cairo's streets at the time. The images on display have relevance for conservation and restoration work that is carried out in Cairo today, but for us here it's a great opportunity to see what life was like in this fascinating city two centuries ago.
