Building Thembi, our Ed Burnett-designed cutter, in 2005 opened the possibility of exploring waters previously out of reach in our aged, engineless Folkboat Sonas. An early voyage to the Faeroes in the Folkboat had provided a glimpse of the beauty to be found in the north and subsequently Thembi has spent four memorable seasons in Arctic waters.
