Think outside the circle

Linda and Patrick Goebel were ready to trade hobbies when they removed their above-ground pool and began planning for a zone 5 garden that would welcome more birds. Instead of starting with a completely clean slate, they decided to build off of the gaping circle impression that the pool left behind.

To create a circle gardenrequire less upkeep. Forgoing symmetry means they could use plants with a loose habit, but incorporating strong geometrical shapes means the low-maintenance planting had an instant form!
