ARE QUEER PEOPLE MAKING MARRIAGE BETTER?

As marriage equality fights played out from California’s Proposition 8 ballot initiative to the eventual U.S. Supreme Court battles, advocates made the argument that “we are just like you” and susequently began to change hearts and minds faster than ever before.
