HELP THE FARMERS

Recently my husband and I travelled to outback north western New South Wales and north eastern South Australia. We were in our camper trailer, so able to go on roads that took us to places like Pooncarrie, Menindee, Tibooburra, Innamincka and Arkaroola.

We were so shocked by the devastatingly dry conditions that when we returned home to Melbourne we felt we needed to do something to help the farmers and their communities in the bush.

We have been in touch with the ABC office in Broken Hill trying to find ways we could help, and they gave us the details of a man called Mal Highet who has been running).
