The Ed Zone

uppets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Thanks to my mother – and growing up with two, though I recall my mum having the novelisation and the cover terrifying me. Jump forward a good few decades – via , , and more – and I find myself once more enthralled by the world of Thra. Not just from seeing what The Jim Henson Company and Netflix have brought to the screen, but for being lucky enough to visit the UK studios where was filmed. I never thought that I’d see the world of physically exist once more, let alone be able to walk through it and meet the cast and crew – and, of course, come face to face with the Skeksis, Aughra and the Gelfling. Flash-forward a year or so more and I found myself at San Diego Comic-Con, watching the world premiere of the first episode with thousands of other fans in Hall H. I can definitely say that you’re in for the most incredible adventure when the series debuts on Netflix on 30 August. I hope you enjoy our ultimate celebration.
