Latest figures from the Office of National Statistics show that the over-50s are one of the fastest-growing demographics in the workplace, accounting for more than half the annual increase in employment. This means that more women of menopausal age form part of the workforce. For too long, however, many women, either through embarrassment or fear for their job, wouldn’t dream of talking about menopause to their employers. So, they suffered in silence. But, not any more. Women are no longer prepared to deny their biology.
