    Along with the 19th amendment, the League of Women Voters celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2020. Carrie Chapman Catt founded the grassroots group with a goal of getting 20 million women to vote and help shape public policy. Today, the organization continues to work on voting rights and other issues. To learn more, COBBLESTONE spoke with the league’s director for advocacy and litigation, Celina Stewart.

    How has the League of Women Voters’s mission changed and evolved?
