Crystal is arguably Colorado’s most picturesque ghost town, due to the iconic Sheep Mountain Tunnel Mill powerhouse (aka Crystal Mill), among the most photographed historic structures in the state. That said, there’s a lot more to this hard-to-reach historic site than just the scenic old mill.
