One of the leading advocates? Chef and MKR host Pete Evans. His latest book Easy Keto Dinners is packed with simple, nourishing recipes that have you covered, whether you’re a total keto convert or just dabbling in that low-carb life. Evans’ tip for starting on the approach? “The formula is very simple,” he says. “Take a piece of well-sourced meat – grass fed and organic – or seafood that’s wild caught and sustainable, or some organic free-range eggs. Cook it in good-quality fat – tallow, lard, duck fat, coconut oil, olive oil – then add a salad or low-carb vegie side and a delicious sauce or dressing.
