I FEEL LIKE LESS OF A PERSON
Q I recently, at the age of 35, made a terrible discovery. I found out that my aunt is actually my mother and the woman I thought of as my mother is actually my grandmother. I’m finding this difficult to deal with as I’ve always seen my aunt, who’s addicted to drugs, as a flighty person without any substance.
I viewed my mother (now my grandmother) as an upstanding person, a pillar of strength with fine morals. I was always proud to introduce her to my friends.
