FINDING calm ON CHOLE Island

I’ve been dreaming about hosting a Longevity restorative wellness retreat on Chole Island, Tanzania, for some time now. And while wasn’t able to attract the full group of wellness wanderlusters we’d hoped for, those who joined us enjoyed a week of incredible calm and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Chole Mjini hotel is the life passion of Anne and Jean de Villiers. The couple was drawn to Chole many years ago by the dhows built on the island by fundis, rumoured to the best in East Africa. They even raised their children there and have supported the local community over the years through the Chole Mjini Trust.
