PULLED BEEF WITH BARBECUE SAUCE

• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 fresh long red chilli, finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1½ cups tomato sauce
• 1½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
• 750g piece beef rump
• 6 long crusty bread rolls
• 6 pieces iceberg lettuce
• grated mozzarella (optional)
Place garlic, chilli, sugar, sauces and vinegar in a 4.5-litre slow cooker. Stir well to combine; add beef and turn to coat in mixture. Cook, covered, on low, for about 8 hours.
