Fettling the Jeep Grand Cherokee

Since my last diary submission, it’s David’s Jeep that’s been occupying much of my spare time. The Jeep passed its recent MoT, but with a number of advisories – the tester noted that the sump looked as if was about to do a good impression of a colander, and that the rear discs and pads were rapidly approaching their limit.

The brakes were on our ‘to do’ list, but the condition of the sump took us by surprise. Apparently Jeeps are well known for this,
