SCIENCE HAS BEEN revealing for years that a regular nature fix makes you happier, healthier and less stressed. Now researchers have quantified the amount of time needed to reap the rewards: two hours a week. Yep, a mere two-hour dose of green space is considered the “crucial threshold” needed to boost health and wellbeing, according to new research from Exeter University and Uppsala University in Sweden. Those who spent 120 minutes a week in natural settings such as parks, woodlands and beaches were more likely to report good health and psychological wellbeing, according to the study.
