DOUGLAS HARRISON

A NATURAL horseman and much-loved member of the equine community, Mr Harrison died on 19 February after defying terminal cancer for eight years.

Born in Dundee, he trained with Robert Hall at Fulmer and then the Micklem family in Cornwall. He rode in point-to-points, hunted and evented but developed a passion for showjumping, in which he competed at the top
