GARIBALDI SLICE

MAKES 24 PREP & COOK 50 MINUTES + REFRIGERATION

1 ½ cups currants
½ cup sultanas
¾ cup dried figs, chopped finely
½ cup water
¼ cup marsala
1 egg, lightly beaten 2 tbsp caster sugar

PASTRY

2 cups plain flour
1/3 cup caster sugar
185g cold butter, coarsely chopped
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp iced water, approx

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 20cm x 30cm slice pan.
