After several seasons of neutral tones, colour is finally back in our beauty bags in a big way. The simplest entry point? Opting for neon tones on the eyes. It might conjure lurid ’80s flashbacks for some, but this is one trend that can be truly sophisticated when executed correctly. It was all over the runways at the A/W 2020 shows, with Off-White, Matty Bovan and Self-Portrait showcasing various doses of neon brights on the eyes. For the uninitiated, start by switching to a blue liner or mascara, or amp things up with shocking shades of magenta or buttercup yellow on the eyes. There’s never been a better time to experiment.
