Closing my eyes tightly, I braced myself. ‘Won’t be long,’ the doctor said, slapping on a pair of latex gloves.
It was January last year, and I was having what I’m sure every man dreads – a prostate exam.
Ever since I’d turned 50, I had to have these dreaded awkward exams regularly.
I’d had a few already – knew they were important.
This time, though, something was wrong.
