Cheetahs on a platter

In March, my girlfriend Adri van der Merwe and I decided to spend a day in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. It was a quiet morning in the reserve. We were on Tshwene Drive when a lilac-breasted roller showed off its colours. The bird flew across the road and perched on a branch. We took photos, not knowing that there was a cheetah and her cubs asleep under the same bush! We were very surprised when the big cats woke up and posed for a family portrait.
