THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC HAS affected most businesses and we all know that manufacturers have been unable to function for months now. If we rewind to the beginning of the year, it was unthinkable to imagine a situation wherein the balance sheet would record zero sales in the middle of the year. The world had not experienced a calamity of this magnitude and the way we perceive things will, perhaps, change forever. However, now, as we look at things limping back to normality, most manufacturers are looking at push-starting incomplete work at their units with an urgency to be back in the game and woo consumers, albeit while maintaining the requisite social distancing.
