While this personal system is technically portable, it’s clearly not as practical for listening to your music while out of the house as the set-up you’ll see if you turn back a page (see p46). This is a system for listening solo, that’s for sure – but this time it is better suited to taking yourself away from it all while in the comfort of your own home. Having said that, you could quite easily take it away with you on a business trip or a holiday – as soon as those things are once again regular parts of our lives, of course.

What we have here, then, is a controller to select your digital music
