The Bible tells us that the wife of a prophet cried out to Elisha: “Your servant, my husband, is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But, now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.” This was a godly woman. The Bible doesn’t tell us her name because it could be any one of us. She had married a man of God. But, now he was dead, and her debts had piled up to the point where she faced losing her two sons as well.In times of trouble we can call on our God who is both willing and able to help.
