Her exquisite wedding dress – made from ivory peau de soie trimmed with ivory Duchess satin, encrusted with diamante and with a geometric chequered bodice and organza sleeves – was on loan from Her Majesty, as was the dazzling tiara, which the Queen wore on her own wedding day in 1947.
