    Taking a look around all the different dogs, there was one in particular that had caught our attention. An 11-week-old white Maltese pup – ready for a new, loving home.

    Myself and the kids, Emily, 18 and Harry, 14, had done a lot of persuading to convince my husband John, 49, to agree to getting a dog.

    But the second he laid his eyes on little Rudi, it was truly love at first sight.

    Bringing him home, we all adored him.
