    The #FreeBritney campaign took a huge knock earlier this month.

    Much to the dismay of her loyal fans, BRITNEY SPEARS’ conservatorship has been extended until early 2021, with judges deciding that her 68-year-old father will remain as her sole conservator.

    The 38-year-old superstar broke her silence on the situation recently when she filed papers asking the court to remove Jamie Spears from the role he’s occupied since 2008. Jamie had taken a break due to health. The pop star’s attorney, Samuel Ingham, said Brit is “strongly opposed to having [Jamie] return as the conservator of her person,” and “strongly prefers” that Jodi replace him.
