his château dating from the 17th and 18th centuries was once home to Joséphine de Beauharnais and her husband, a certain Napoléon Bonaparte. Now a museum, it includes period décors, objects, furniture and works of art. The 6-hectare park reveals Joséphine’s passion for horticulture, and includes a rose garden. The nearby 17-hectare parc de Bois-Préau is part of the estate.
