The other day I saw a photograph of a Vincent on a well-known internet portal thingy (rhymes with ‘space hook’, you know the one). This particular Vincent had the single-sided front end from a Gilera CX125 on it – a motorcycle even odder than last month’s DNA, with disc wheels and all-enveloping bodywork. It had the back wheel and single-sided swinging arm off something else. Probably a Honda or something equally enervating. ‘Harrumph’, said various commentators, spluttering into their cocoa.
