Lockdown has prevented family gatherings for so many in Britain, so it was rather touching to see Her Majesty and The Duke of Edinburgh celebrating 73 years of marriage enjoying a card handmade by their great-grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Snail mail and an old-fashioned craft project – possibly engineered by mum Kate, who is the more creative of the Cambridge parents – added to the retro feel of the photo (below), which was taken in the Oak Room in Windsor Castle and released by Buckingham Palace to mark the occasion.
