Audrina began complaining about pains in her right leg when she was three years old.
She was a healthy, happy girl and didn’t grumble or complain very often.
‘It must be growing pains,’ I told her dad Zach, 30.
Just before Christmas in 2017, the pain escalated.
Audrina got really sick and never got better.
From then onwards, it was infection after infection.
When Audrina had a chest infection and felt poorly, she would curl up on the sofa watching Star Wars.
She would be mesmerised by the stormtroopers and their story on the television would distract her from the pain.
‘Let’s watch !’ I’d smile, when she felt down.
