Superveloce Alpine
MV AGUSTA OF ITALY recently launched a special edition of their already special Superveloce model. This MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine has been inspired by the legendary Alpine A110 motor car. For the uninitiated, Alpine are a renowned French sports car marque founded in 1955, who are known for their race cars powered by compact Renault engines. The idea was to blend exquisite French design with brutish Italian muscle. The result is just as expected.
MV Agusta have produced just 110 units of this 798-cc, three-cylinder, 147-hp motorcycle, thus making a piece of art that has a claimed top speed of 240 keys per big hand lap. If that isn’t enough cause for glee, the design plays its own special part. This is an MV Agusta, after all. The engine is the same unit that we find in the F3 series as well as the original Superveloce. The bike comes with all the bells and whistles of technology, highlighting performance and safety as the key elements.
However, the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine has been sold out quicker than our jaws lifted off the ground. That does go to show how much this machine is coveted by motorcycle fans the world over. Therefore, figuratively speaking, one might expect that price tag to rise a little above an arm and a leg.
