This year’s forest fires and hurricanes often found people being asked to leave “now”! Those without a plan in place often found themselves in a quandary and wasting precious time trying to figure out what to do and where to go.

As a hurricane is approaching your town or a forest fire is cresting the next ridge isn’t the time to try to figure out what you’re going to do. You must have a plan—or multiple plans—already in place so you’re prepared to move on very short notice.
