‘It feels like a boutique hotel’

HOW BEN DID IT

e’re huge fans of Art Deco style and it fits perfectly with the house, which was) to bring Art Deco up to date by installing modern services alongside the period-style fittings. We’d seen an amazing floor with a dramatic black star insert in a hotel, and wanted to recreate it, but sadly we couldn’t get it absolutely right and so abandoned the idea. We were lucky with our designer, builder and plumber who worked brilliantly together, which meant the process went very smoothly. The work took around eight weeks and cost around £4,500 to install.
