About this audiobook

ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR FANTASY TALES OF ALL TIME.

An ancient evil is stirring, intent on the complete destruction of all life. The Druid Allanon sets out on a dangerous journey to save the world, reluctantly aided by Brin Ohmsford, daughter of Wil Ohmsford-for she alone holds the magic power of the wishsong. But a prophecy foretells doom, as evil nurses its plan to trap the unsuspecting Brin into a fate far more horrible than death.

Terry Brooks follows the same pattern in each episode of a series. He takes up to 100 pages to get in motion, explain all the characters, relationships and history. If you manage that far, you're in for one heck of a read.

This book has to be my all time favorite of Terry's. It covers the main adventures of Walker Boh, and how he must recover the black elfstone. It's brilliantly written, with memorable characters, such as Pe Ell and Quickening, and a great storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat. So go Read it! Ready? Set? Go!
