About this audiobook
A new beginning
Hollywood actor Dayne Matthews and Katy Hart are married and living in Bloomington, Indiana, where Dayne has found a solution to his on-camera love scenes—he wants Katy to star in his next film. Katy wins the part and is cast opposite her super-star husband. The story of a small town girl’s dream come true is too much for the press to resist, and in an effort to appease them, the couple agrees to a 12-episode reality show. It seems like the perfect compromise but by the time they finish filming the movie, they feel cracks around the edges of their marriage. Now they face an uncertain future, and possibly the end of everything that truly matters to them.
An unforgettable summer
The Baxter family learns that Ashley and Kari are both pregnant, but an ultrasound reveals that something is wrong with one of the babies. As the summer progresses, the sisters pray for a miracle while trying to face the unthinkable. It’s in this trying season that they must all learn the lesson God has been trying to teach them—He is still in control, and He will be with them regardless of the outcome.
An emotional farewell
The Flanigans continue to draw closer to their only daughter, yet Bailey struggles to find her way amidst the turmoil of adolescence. She has always made good decisions, but she wants to experience more of life. Her friendship with Cody Coleman—the young boarder staying with the Flanigans—continues to blossom in this summer after his graduation. But when Cody decides to enlist in the Army, he’ll have to say goodbye to the family he’s come to love and the girl he’ll never forget.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So good! Words cannot express how this book blessed me having carried my baby girl for 9 months . Problems during delivery, and she only lived for three days and was taken home to Jesus .I never got to hold her. I Could only look at her sweet beautiful face and hazel color eyes and her little chubby cheeks and arms in her bassinet through the glass of the nursery while she was alive. It was 58 years ago. They never let me hold her because of the tube in the top of her little head. They came to my room told me she had died and they let my husband go in a room and see her. They didn’t let mothers hold their dead babies to say goodbye In those days. I was angry with God for a while. I found out later through His Word and His love that He turns all things to good for His children. God did bless me with a vision of my father holding her in his arms in heaven. Your novel took me back to that time . Touched my heart and with teary eyes and peace, gave me a sweeter closure I never had before reading the closure with Ashley and the Baxter family. I felt like I was there. I Thank God for the gift He has given you. Thank you for using it so beautifully . God bless you Karen.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Shockingly, this is my favorite book from the sunrise, forever, or redemption series. I found it extremely touching and reassuring. Kingsbury does a wonderful job of portraying the miracle of life no matter how long that life might be. She also shows that in the hardest of times God still continues to pour out his blessings.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A life changing books in so many ways. I’m learning to her the voice of God more and more. I’m learning to trust God, trust that him hears me and He care more than I can think of even imagine. I never had patience with myself, nor did I have anyone with patience for me. I just survived life. Didn’t try to process it or have compassion for myself. This woman, Karen is a true vessel of Love for God. Healing in my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit is taking place . Thank you.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a great story.....so VERY gripping and painfully true story. Our granddaughter has lost one baby (miscarriage) and may lose this one she is caring now. My heart was heavy all the way thru and you gave so much encouraging words through the whole book of what God can and wants to do in a person`s life. Once again a huge thank you!! I will get this book for her if she losses the baby again.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great heart touching story. I cried and remembered my baby that I miscarried and a friend's baby, also named Sarah, that passed shortly after birth. Beautiful story of love, forgiveness, hope and courage.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book is about Katy and Dayne surviving the Hollywood scene, and still keeping their marraige in tack; is that possible? It also is about Bailey Flannigan and her new feelings for Cody; and about Ashley and Landon and their new little baby. I shed some tears in this book, so beware - you will get emotionally involved, especially near the end! These characters I have come to know and love and they feel real to me. Karen Kingsbury does a great job!
