About this audiobook
What if your whole world was a lie?
The thrillingly dark conclusion to the No. 1 New York Times bestselling DIVERGENT trilogy.
What if a single revelation – like a single choice – changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered – fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature – and of herself – while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I was worried that this book would suffer from a failure to tie up loose ends, but it was a surprisingly fulfilling conclusion to the trilogy. Having split the first-person narrative from one person to two people allowed for a moving conclusion. The political storytelling was less believable than the character interplay, but as a piece of youth fiction, the series as a whole is a great launching point for a lot of deeper thinking about social organisation, Justice, and value systems. Enjoyable reading.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was amazing! Personally, I loved the book because of all the action scenes and a bit of romance.
(Sometimes, you have to read a book that the ending is not a happy ending...)1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Audio disjointed. Unable to hear book at all. Please fix scribd
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So it's a great series, but I wish it had a different ending. As a teenager I probably would have loved the fact that it didn't end as a fairytale, but as an adult I want comfort from the endings. Life is cruel enough and always ends in death, fiction should be kinder. So read it only if you are ready to cry.
