- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I'm not a hundred percent sure she actually discusses anything to do with small talk in the book. There are more about manners and how to present yourself than actually starting and keeping a conversation going. I do not like the person's voice reading the book either, robotic and monotonous. She does list a bunch of questions to ask in the appendix, but I'm not interested in memorizing dozens of questions. It's certainly possible I missed the actual meat-and-potatoes buried in this book somewhere because it's so boring to listen to, but I found nothing of value that wasn't common sense in this book.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5VERY BORING! The reader is very monotone. No expression. It’s good information but you can’t pay attention to it because it’s so boring!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good ideas if you're at a loss for words during many types of conversations.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Some interesting points, but nothing I felt was was super helpful. It could also be because the narrator is very monotone and often put me to sleep. Maybe if it were read with a bit more gusto or personality I could have gotten into it more. I wouldn’t recommend.
